Each potential KDS Fiber address has been previously engineered how it will connect to the main hub.

Two different crews will do the install in two steps. The first crew will trench and install conduit prior to the installation of the service.

You do not need to be home for our crews to install conduits in your yard. The second crew will run the fiber from the KDS Fiber box through the conduit to a Fiber Termination Box at your home.

They will also test your speeds to make sure everything is running smoothly and set up correctly. 

An ONT (Optical Network Terminal) is the only standard equipment that we install.
The ONT is mounted to the wall in a secure weatherproof box on the side of your home. 
A small box called a PoE will be inside the home that will provide power to the Terminal and bring internet inside the home.

1 fiber line will be run into the outside mounted Fiber termination box. 

Unlike traditional copper-based coaxial cables, which can deteriorate over time due to weather or natural decay, fiber never deteriorates and is capable of withstanding intense weather conditions. This means that fiber lines installed today will still be fully operational decades into the future.

Yes. You can purchase your own Dual Band WiFi Router.
If you have it accessible at the time of installation our tech will set it up for you and make sure all works well and your devices connect.

We also provide Whole Home WiFi solutions – wired and wireless options available.

There is a one-time connection fee of $700.00 that covers fiber optic cable, trenching from the property line to the home up to 100 feet.
Similar to the way other utilities are ran to the home.

A  Fiber Termination Box and Fiber Modem to get the fiber right into your home.

There will be an additional cost of $3 per foot exceeding the initial 100 feet from the property line to the home.   

For installations scheduled after the fiber is deployed, the initial fee will be higher, roughly $900-$1000. The reason for this higher fee is the added costs involving moving equipment, scheduling, mapping and marking for an individual install, whereas doing it during the initial deployment costs a lot less. We encourage everyone to take advantage of this great opportunity!

We are also offering 2-year financing for the installation fee that may be added to your monthly bill at a rate of 13% APR.

If your dwelling is quite away from the property line, you do have the option to trench on your own to save some money. We will trench the 100ft included in the connection fee and provide the specs. for Do-It-Yourself trenching. The fee will be reduced from $3 per foot to $1 per foot, for the cost of the Fiber Optic Cable.
